When it comes to food, Chicago is well-known for their irresistible deep dish pizza.

Wondering where to go for the best Chicago pizza? Sorry, but I can’t give you just one place; there’s too many! There’s so many pizza options to explore in the Windy City, but here’s a few to get you started:

Lou Malnati’s prides themselves with having a “buttery, flaky crust, sweet and tangy tomatoes, gooey mozzarella cheese, perfectly seasoned sausage, and other fresh ingredients,” according to their website. Each handmade pizza is made exactly the way you ask. Do you like Lou Malnati’s but don’t live in the Chicago area? Don’t worry, they will ship their pizza to you! That’s right, visit their website, and you can have a Lou Malnati’s pizza shipped anywhere in the United States! Where else can you find service like that?

If you’re not a fan of Lou Malnati’s, try Giordano’s. This pizzeria is famous for their stuffed crust pizza that has “evolved over 200 years,” according to their website. Critics such as NBC, CBS Chicago, New York Times, Chicago Magazine, Chicago Tribune, and more have named Giordano’s the best pizza in Chicago. Not in the mood for pizza? Giordano’s also offers a

variety of salads, pasta and sandwiches; there’s something for everyone!

Another place for authentic Chicago pizza in Gino’s East. Whether you live in the city or the suburbs, Gino’s is the place to go for exceptional pizza; there’s even one location in Wisconsin! This restaurant has an impressive selection of pizza, stuffed crust and thin crust, sandwiches, pasta and more. Need a better reason to eat at Gino’s? How about the fact that their pizza was featured on the Travel Channel show “Man vs. Food,” according to Gino’s official blog.

There’s no doubt that all of the previously mentioned restaurants have some of the best pizza you’ll ever taste. Each pizza has something that makes it unique, making it impossible to declare one of them “the best pizza in Chicago.” Regardless of which pizzeria you prefer, Chicago-style pizza is simply to die for.

  1. There was a time I would order an entire large pizza…….for myself…..in one sitting.
Now, a slice or, two is plenty as long as there are anchovies included. You do get anchovies on a Chicago style pizza, right?
