Looking for something fun to do in Chicago that the whole family can enjoy? Look no further than Navy Pier.

Located just off Lake Michigan, Navy Pier is a 3,300-foot long pier that features rides, attractions, entertainment, dining and shopping, all while giving a stunning view of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline.

108The one thing you absolutely must do during you visit to Navy Pier is ride the 150-foot ferris wheel. This enormous ferris wheel takes 7 minutes to make a complete round, and during your trip, you will see some of the most breath-taking views Chicago has to offer. Relax in the seat of the car and listen to an audio commentary about the history of the city as you take in its magnificent views.

Looking for somewhere good to eat? Try Harry Caray’s Tavern, named after the legendary Chicago Cubs announcer. This restaurant features a variety of fine food, sports memorabilia and a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Or maybe you want something a bit more casual. How about the Billy Goat Tavern, made famous by John Belushi on Saturday Night Live, according to Navy Pier’s official website. If you’re looking for somewhere simple to eat, check out the food court. There’s something for everyone!

For any shopaholics out there, Navy Pier has plenty of stores to explore. You can find just about any souvenir imaginable in these novelty shops, along with a few specialty stores and boutiques.

Navy Pier is known for their entertainment, and the month October is filled with great events. If you want to have some Halloween fun, check out the Fear Haunted House, an “aggressive adult-themed haunted house,” according to Navy Pier. If you have kids, that might be a little too scary, so try Spooky October at the Children’s Museum. At this event, kids can create their own costume, have their face painted, or attend the Monster Mash Dance Bash.

Navy Pier is the perfect place for a day of unlimited fun. To view a complete list of all they has to offer, be sure to visit Navy Pier’s website.

    • The ferris wheel is my favorite! By the way, I just found something in the article I’m currently writing that may be of interest to your blog. I’ll try to figure out how to link it to you when I’m done!
